The product is a SanDisk 512MB SD Secure Digital Memory Card. It is designed to protect copyrighted data with security concepts from DVD audio. The card has a high transfer rate for fast copy/downloads, high storage capacity, and a non-volatile solid-state design that maximizes battery power. The card is also user selectable to have a mechanical write protect switch. New devices with SD Card slots will accept existing MultiMediaCards.
