Indeed, it’s as one of South Africa’s most accomplished and revered guitar players that Botha has most recently been in the spotlight: he’s part of Steve Hofmeyr’s live band and is currently working on the singer’s Neil Diamond shows, having previously worked with Hofmeyr on his Kris Kristofferson live tribute shows and records and several other projects. The album features 12 tracks – six reworked songs off his debut solo album Blou Planeet and six brand new tracks.
