The Velvet AtticNEW Vintage LEAFING SIZE of a high quality!50ml Plastic bottle (Using a soft brush apply a thin, even coat of Leafing Size to the area to be gilded. Wait for the Leafing Size to turn clear & tacky. Use latex gloves or put baby powder on your hands to avoid scratching and tearing the gilding leaf. Lift up a single sheet of leaf & lay it across the sized surface. Take a soft dry brush and gently smooth the leaf onto the surface so that it adheres well. Brush off the excess leaf. For best results seal the leaf with Velvet Attic Vintage Varnish (Matte, Satin or Gloss) as the leaf will tarnish if left unprotected.) Clean brushes in brown vinegard & water.
