The Disney+ streaming platform app is now available on Playstation 5, and can be downloaded off the South African Playstation store now.
The streaming service, which had a bit of a bumpy launch in SA, makes its way to Sony’s console in an effort to provide more mediums to utilise the service, in addition to the existing smart TV, desktop browser, and media box options.
Disney+ currently features over 1,000 films, more than 1,500 series and a slate of 200 exclusive Originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. However, December on Disney+ is doubling down on the Christmas content this December, with classic Christmas movies, along with blockbusters like Amsterdam landing this month, new episodes of Willow, The Santa Clauses and American Horror Story.
Users will have access to high-quality viewing up to 4K, up to four concurrent streams, unlimited downloads on up to ten devices, and the ability to set up to seven different profiles, including the ability for parents to set a PIN to access age-appropriate content.
