The Replacement Paper Coffee Filters are designed for use with AeroPress Original, Go, and Clear coffee makers. They have micro-filtration technology that works with finer ground coffee and removes grit, resulting in smoother tasting coffee. The high quality paper used in the filters also absorbs bitter tasting oils. These filters are biodegradable and compostable, and are made in the USA. The box contains 350 filters. The company, originally founded as Aerobie, Inc. in 1984, was started by inventor and retired Stanford University engineering instructor Alan Adler. In 2004, Adler began studying the brewing process with the goal of creating a superior cup of coffee. The AeroPress Original was released in 2005 and is now sold in over 60 countries. In 2017, the company sold its sport toy line and became known as AeroPress, Inc.

Founded in 1984 as Aerobie, Inc. by inventor and retired Stanford University engineering instructor Alan Adler they manufactured high-performance sports toys initially. Then, in 2004, Alan began studying the brewing process with a simple goal in mind: brew a superior cup of coffee. The AeroPress Original debuted to critical acclaim in 2005 and is now sold in over 60 countries. In 2017 they sold the Aerobie sport toy line and became AeroPress, Inc.
