This organically produced dried yeast from Health Connection is a vegan's dream for two reasons:
- Firstly, it has a naturally delicious cheese-like taste, which can be used to enhance the flavour of vegan and vegetarian casseroles, soups & sauces.
- Secondly, it's high in vitamin B1, B2 and B6, which can be hard to find in large amounts if you follow a vegan diet. Nutritional yeast is high in protein and folic acid as well.
Please Note: Health Connection Nutritional Yeast is a condiment and a dietary supplement; not suitable as a raising agent for baking. Store in a cool dry place. After opening, store in an airtight container. This product is packed in a warehouse where peanuts and tree nuts are present.
