A LARGE (1,325 Ct - 58mm) , Natural Bloodstone sphere.   Bloodstone is also called Heliotrope and has been known from antiquity with numerous mystical properties attributed ti it. It is a mixture of Jasper and quartz/chalcedony. The red spots resemble blood - hence the name Blood stone.  This is a very good quality and size.
