ComplicationsIf you have facial hair, it will pull the hair out and this may hurt. Do not to put it near your eyebrows or hair or near the delicate skin around your eyes and mouth.
DirectionsWash your face with cleanser and warm water. The warm water opens the pores of your face. To open the pores more, sit with a hot, wet towel over your face for 3 till 5 minutes. Alternatively, boil water and sit CAREFULLY with your face over the steam with a towel over your head.Apply a layer of the Pilaten mask where you would like to remove blackheads. Usually this will be the T-zone of your face; forehead, nose and chin. Leave a thicker edge on the outside of the area as this makes it easier to peel it off. If you put on a layer which is too
thick , the mask will need a long time to dry. If you put on a layer which is too
thin , the blackheads will not stick well to the mask.Wait (15 till 30 minutes) until it is completely dry before peeling it off.Peel off carefully your Pilaten face mask. Do not be worried if the mask breaks while peeling it off. Once the Pilaten face mask has been peeled off, it must be discarded; it cannot be used again.Rinse your face with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel. Avoid rubbing, as this can irritate the freshly opened pores. Repeat the treatment if necessary.For the best result, finish the blackhead removal treatment with an astringent agent such as witch hazel or HA+ hyaluronic acid essence.During the 1st week, use Pilaten 3x. Thereafter, use 1x a week.

- Glycerol is a lubricant that allows the POVH to get thin enough to stretch across the offending areas. Glycerol is hygroscopic, i.e. it absorbs moisture and disperses it evenly.
- Imidazolidinyl urea is an antimicrobial preservative.
- Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate is an antifungal agent to protect your skin.
- Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) binds to the blackheads and other skin impurities and grips them, to rip them out at the root!
- Propylene Glycol is hygroscopic and has lubricating properties. It is an antibacterial deterrent.
How these products work?The blackheads stick to the dried mask and get pulled out of the pores of your skin. As the blackheads are clearly visible on the removed pieces of the Pilaten Mask, you will be able to see immediately the result.
