Description
The days of paying to send your silver items like jewellery, coins and bullion bars for valuation is over.Test and confirm that your purchases are indeed silver. Fake silver is out there, sometimes even sold unknowingly.Short of sending it to a lab, this will give you the peace of mind when buying silver.
Test solution is for a 15ml bottle of acid based colour-changing silver test solution.  The test solution contains concentrated acids and other potentially harmful chemicals.  Acid is corrosive and care should be taken when using.  Keep out of reach of children.  If spilt on skin, wash immediately under running water.Use the 500g pocket digital portable electronic scale to weigh your silver. Once you know the purity of the silver item(using the testing solution) and the weight of the silver item you can determine the amount of silver in the item and then valuate it according to the current market prices. The silver test solution is very easy to use. After you have put on your safety gloves (very important!) put a small drop of the solution onto the object that you want to test. The acid changes colour based on purity:1). If the substance being tested is 50% silver, the colour of the acid will change to green.2).If acid becomes light-green in colour this indicates that the sample of Silver is only 60-70% pure.3). Acid change ranging from light-red to brownish indicates 80-90% purity.4). Acid sampled that remains dark-red in colour(doesn't really change) indicates 90-100% pure Silver.
5). Bright red(no colour change) indicates that the object been tested is very close to 100% pure silver.
