GYPSOPHILIA ROSEA Gypsophila elegans By sowing seeds regularly throughout the year a constant supply of theses dainty blossoms is available for the home in all but the hottest months. No transplanting is necessary as seeds can be sown direct where the plants are to grow. Gysophila favours a well dug and generously limed loam enriched with a liberal dressing of compost or organic material. Sow small successive sowings and you can have a continuous supply of these dainty flowers for the house. Sow fairly thickly in drills spaced about 22 to 30 cm apart, covered with 12 mm of soil. There is seldom any need to thin out the plants as they will produce really good blooms even when growing closely together they touch each other. View our other items:
