Both sides are marked with measurements in both inches and centimetres. When the mat starts to gather debris, or starts to lose it's stickiness simply rinse it with water and let it dry. It will refresh and become sticky as when it was new! TIP:Remove the plastic cover from the side that you wish to use. The backing on the other side should be left in place to keep the sticky surface clean.
