Developed over a few years of trying we feel we finally managed to get the perfect longboard free ride formula. The Inthane comes in the Peg Freedom urethane formula.
The Inthane longboard wheels is 70mm X 46mm and has rounded edges which you need for sliding and freerding. The wheel is shaped with a circular edge so it travels across the road sideways much better than a square or bevelled wheel, but it also lets go a bit earlier and more progressively. The Inthane has a stone-ground contact surfaces that ensures buttery-smooth slides right out of the box. The wheel has a side set core which will ride on a smaller contact patch and slide easier when new. As the wheels wear the coning will increase grip and slow the wheel, this also gives a soft feel to the ride. Since urethane is wearing faster over the hub, the life of the wheel is less than that of center set wheels.
The Inthane free ride longboard wheel comes in 3 Duros namely 78a, 83a, 87a. The 78a wheel is the softest and will provide more grip and result in a drifting style of slide where the rider is in more control rather than such of a glassing slide of an 87a wheel.
