I bought the Efekto Rain Gauge last year from Builders Express in Lynnwood Rd, Pretoria and, initially, I was pleased to find that I measured consistently higher rainfall than my friends. However when my next door neighbour recorded consistently lower readings, I became suspicious. I, therefore, compared the two instruments by filling the one to a given reading and then pouring the contents into the other. I was astonished to find that my Efekto Gauge read 25% higher every time.
