It cools better than a fan using water which lowers the temperature and increases the humidity of the air by changing liquid water to water vapor, warm dry air is changed to cool moist air thereby consuming less energy than an air conditioner. Water is poured into the tank and the included ice packs could be used for better cooling effect. |
