Ideally suited for preparing fruit and vegetable juices high in nutrients, the KitchenAid Maximum Extraction Juicer is a proud new addition to the KitchenAid Artisan range.
The unique and powerful auger assembly slowly crushes all ingredients, extracting all the juice to the last drop. A low 80rpm rotation allows for optimised juicing speed without raising the temperature or allowing large amounts of oxygen to cause foaming, retaining valuable enzymes, nutrients and vitamins. You can even juice grasses such as wheatgrass and barleygrass as well as wild herbs. The slow juicing process means that the juice will retain its powerful nutrients for up to 24 hours. 
Soft or hard vegetables, fruits, leafy greens and herbs can all be juiced with the KitchenAid Artisan Maximum Extraction Juicer. The 2-in-1 food tube allows larger pieces of fruit to be fed into the auger assembly, which pre-slices the food before extraction, with the unqiue integrated blade. This is the first vertical juicer to have this feature. Three interchangeable food pulp screens control the amount of pulp, making the juicer ideal for producing anything from coulis, purees, mashes, sauces and jams to the finest juice.
