Western in which hero Jimmy Henderson (Bob Steele) infiltrates a gang of cowboys while searching for his missing, presumed kidnapped, father. Whilst on the run from the law, Henderson finds shelter at a ranch, where he meets notorious local cowboy McKim (Charles King), known as 'Black Diablo'.

McKim inducts Henderson into his fold, but the newcomer soon makes enemies when he attracts the attention of McKim's love interest, Carmelita (Rita Rey).
