Description
Queen recorded a live album in Montreal in 1981 and a live album in 1985. The 1985 album was named the world's greatest rock gig ever. The band's show-stealing performance at Wembley Stadium in 1985 is also included in the double disc set.
In November 1981, with 'Under Pressure' topping the charts in the
UK, Queen arrived in Montreal following dates in Japan and their
record-breaking tour of Latin America. It was to be the only
concert by Queen that was ever recorded on film. Always a great
live band, with arguably the greatest frontman of all time in
Freddie Mercury, they excelled themselves with the cameras rolling.
Queen's iconic performance at Live Aid in July 1985 has since been
named the world's greatest rock gig ever. The band's show-stealing
performance at Wembley Stadium, which had 75,000 people clapping
along with Mercury to tracks such as Radio GaGa, is also included
in this double disc set.
