Description
The film "Convict Cowboy" is about a man named Clay Treyton who is arrested for public drunkenness and is sent to prison. Clay is assigned to the prison ranch run by Ry Weston, a former rodeo champ who is serving life for murder. Clay sets out to prove himself to Ry and compete next to him at the Tri-State Prison Rodeo. However, when a ruthless drug runner interferes, Clay is pulled into a war as turbulent and deadly as the art of bullriding itself. Marcia Gay Harden, Academy Award winner, stars in the film.
