Description
The first and second series of "Idiot Abroad" are comedy travelogues starring Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. In the first series, Karl Pilkington (played by Ricky Gervais) is sent to visit the Seven Wonders of the World. Hoping the trip will force Karl out of his comfort zone, broaden his horizons, and make him a better person, Karl is instead met with ridicule and disaster. In the second series, Karl is sent to visit a variety of different countries, and again finds himself in trouble.
