The Killing Fields is a feature film about the relationship between a Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times correspondent, Sidney Schanberg, and an aide, Dith Pran, who is captured by the Khmer Rouge and subjected to the atrocities of the barbarous "re-education camps."
