The movie is about John Morgan, an English aristocrat who is captured by the Sioux in America in 1825. He is subjected to torture and proves to be as brave as his captors. The movie follows John Morgan as he returns to England and continues to fight for the Sioux. The sequels are "Return of a Man Called Horse" and "Triumphs of a Man Called Horse."
