Description
The story follows Will Anderson, a rancher, as he hires 11 schoolboys to help him on a cattle run. The boys are inexperienced and the journey is difficult, but they persevere. Along the way, they must contend with the wilderness and a psychotic ex-con who is out to get Anderson. In the end, the boys help Anderson succeed and he is able to reunite with his cowhands.
After his cowhands desert him for a nearby gold rush, aging, leather-tough rancher Will Anderson resorts to hiring 11 schoolboys to help him on a 400-mile cattle run.
Setting off with the boys and an eloquent but equally tough black cook, Anderson must get his cattle to their destination while contending with the wilderness and a psychotic, vengeful ex-con who is out to get him.
