Superman IV: The Quest for Peace is a 1992 American superhero film directed by Richard Donner and produced by Christopher Reeve and Ilya Salkind. The film is the fourth installment in the Superman film series and is also the first sequel to be released after the death of its predecessor's star, Christopher Reeve. The film stars Reeve, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman, and Ned Beatty and tells the story of Superman's battle against Lex Luthor and Nuclear Man.
