Description
This is a review of the Uvex Jakkyl Hde Black & Silver Mountain Bike Helmet. This helmet is designed for mountain biking and is made from a strong polycarbonate shell and an inner EPS layer. It has a detachable Chinguard and 14 ventilation openings. The size adjustment is done via the Anatomic IAS System and the helmet can be worn with or without a goggle. The helmet is also fast-adapting and has a clever goggle strap holder.

The detachable Chinguard is mounted in just one step. The half shell thus becomes a full-face helmet in fractions of a second. A strong kick in the pedals and you're ready to go downhill at top speed. 14 ventilation openings with fly net regulate the helmet climate. The size adjustment takes place via the proven Anatomic IAS System. Clever: A goggle can be placed under the adjustable visor. For a secure grip on rough trails, a goggle strap holder is included on board.

Double Inmould Technology
Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell. It creates a lightweight helmet with highest impact resistance. A perfect fusion of polycarbonate outer shell and EPS inner layer.
Anatomic IAS
uvex uses the brand new anatomic IAS sizing system to ensure the perfect individual fit for every head size and shape. It allows accurate, individual adjustment of the helmet to the head just with one hand.
Monomatic - Button-press adjustment
Multi-stage and anatomically shaped: uvex's monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button, with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.
FAS - Easy and Practical
FastAdaptingSystem webbing can be easily and continuously tailored to your exact head shape. The helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and the webbing straps are always in the best position.

PC - Strongly bonded polycarbonate shell for safety. Double inmould for extra protection around the lower edge.
Inner material
EPS - Protective material contains microscopic air chambers. They effectively absorb the impact forces created in a fall.
