Three people can experience an unforgettable 30-minute rotational solo control of this amazingly manoeuvrable machine. One person will have solo control of the ultimate hover craft for 20 minutes, and two companions as passengers will have 5 minutes solo control each. You will be flying in a Robinson 44 as it moves sideways, forward, backwards or simply hovers in the air. A great way to lift someone s spirits!
More Information The Experience Experience the ultimate hover craft and the versatility of it as it moves forward, sideways, backwards or simply hovers in the air under your control. Your experience includes a helicopter introduction course, helicopter orientation and pre-flight inspection for three people before take off in a Robinson 44. The recipient of the gift will have 20 minutes control of the aircraft and two of his companions will get a chance to take solo control of the aircraft for 5 minutes each. All participants will get a certificate on completion of the U-Fly course. Vital Info You must be reasonably healthy to fly, and all health related issues must be brought to the pilot s attention. You must be 18 or older to fly. The Weather Helicopter flying is a weather dependant activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial that you call the flying centre for a weather check before setting out to ensure the conditions are suitable for your booked time. All flights cancelled due to bad weather will be rescheduled. Session Length Your helicopter flying time is 30 minutes, in addition to a start up and shut down of 7 minutes. Numbers The only people aboard your aircraft will be three of you and a qualified pilot. Your briefing is likely to be shared. Spectators Spectators are welcome. We recommend bringing a camera, video or binoculars along. Dress Code Dress code is casual. Bring sunglasses to avoid the glare from the sun. Availability U-fly is normally available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, subject to availability. Please note that weekends are particularly busy and should be booked at least 4 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.
