The Spyra-Gyra slices a huge variety of hard fruits and veggies into delicate, attractive spirals: baby marrow, carrot, daikon radish, potato or sweet potato, peeled and cored apples, beetroot, cucumber, butternut, Jerusalem artichokes, kohlrabi, parsnips, pumpkin or turnips! Spyra-Gyra features:
  • 3 stainless steel spaghetti blades: angel-hair (0.9 mm), linguine (2.4mm) & fettuccine (4 mm)
  • A factory-fitted stainless steel flat flute blade for shredding & fluting

Spyra-Gyra blades are interchangeable and replaceable; the slicer is made using excellent quality, food grade materials. Its easy to clean and easy to store fuss-free and mess-free. Recipe for Raw Vegan Coleslaw:
Ingredients:
For the coleslaw
  • ½  head red cabbage
  • ½ head white cabbage
  • 2 bunches fresh flat leaf parsley
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 2 - 4 carrots
  • 8 - 12 green spring onions
For the dressing
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup raw cashews (soaked for about 4 hours beforehand)
  • A splash of of fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • A pinch of sea salt
Method:
  • Slice the vegetables using your Spyra-Gyra, and toss together in a salad bowl.
  • Mix the dressing ingredients in a high-speed blender and drizzle it over the vegetables.
  • Enjoy tasty, crunchy raw coleslaw an attractive side-dish for summertime dinner parties!
Directions How to use your Spyra-Gyra:
  • Cut both ends of your vegetable off at a clean 90 angle.
  • Push one end of the vegetable onto the Pipe Blade.
  • Holding the vegetable firmly, push the spikes of the rotating disk into the other end.
  • Place your left-hand thumb onto the sticker labelled PUSH and simultaneously turn the blade clockwise.
