n 2008, frustrated by the lack of quality in children's activity equipment for their own children, Shaine and Sarah McAlister designed and manufactured their very first original sandpit. Then, when the kids have finished playing, simply close the lid to help keep the sand clean and dry! Brilliant! Drainage is probably the most important feature of any sandpit. Proper drainage prevents the build-up of stagnant water which can lead to ring worm and other forms of algae or bacteria. By building their sandpits with open bases and supplying you with their unique ground sheet, Just for Kids prevents this possible health risk to your most treasured possessions...your children. The cloth is both robust and porous. It separates the garden soil from your clean sand thereby preventing weeds and roots/grass from growing into the sand in your sandpit. At the same time, it provides suitable drainage to prevent the spread of germs.
