Description
Found in the Dolomite hill in the Isaac Stegman Nature Reserve this is the site where Mrs Plea (Plesiantropes Transvalinis) discovered by Dr Broom who once described this as the anthropological house of the world. The Sterkfontein Caves are owned by the University of the Witwatersrand, who's scientists have been responsible for the main excavations of the World Heritage Site.
