Description
The protagonist, Jeremiah Bridger, has resolved to spend his life avenging the massacre of his parents and young sister by killing Indians. He is shot by Perkins' henchmen, but is nursed back to health by a medicine man. The medicine man tells Bridger that Perkins is responsible for the massacre, not the Indians. Bridger then sets out to confront Perkins one last time.
Scalphunter Jeremiah Bridger has resolved to spend his life killing Indians in order to revenge their senseless massacre of his parents and young sister. When he is shot by a couple of henchmen in the employ of crooked local businessman Perkins, it seems he might finally be about to meet his maker. But then he is nursed back to health by a travelling medicine man who also tells him that it was Perkins, not the Indians, who bears the ultimate responsibility for his parent's death. Healed and ready for action, Jeremiah heads out one last time to confront the man who has now become his nemesis.
