Description
Jacquard's Versatex Screen Printing Ink is a highly pigmented and permanent ink designed for commercial silkscreening. Its thick and creamy consistency makes it ideal for use on textiles, including batiks, silk-screening, stenciling, and block printing. This ink does not alter the texture or softness of the fabric and is best used on light-colored fabrics. It can also be used on heavy canvas or filmy blends and can be brushed directly onto fabric. The colors are most vibrant when used at full strength and can be made permanent by heat setting. For lighter shades, an extender can be added, and mixing with white creates opaque pastels. Overlapping pastels can create new shades. While Versatex can print effectively over light tones, it is not suitable for covering dark tones.
