its lovely and beautiful

The overall performance of the PlayBook's touchscreen controls on the BlackBerry Tablet OS are pretty smooth (much better than any touchscreen BlackBerry Smartphone to date) and appear to me to be improving as RIM continues to optimize the QNX operating system for the PlayBook. Since I first went hands-on with the PlayBook, I've noticed the homescreen GUI has become much more fluid and the sensitivity to touchscreen inputs has been refined (I noticed it initially didn't respond to my index finger taps as nicely as when I tapped the screen with my thumbs (maybe I tap too fast with my index fingers?), but on the latest software builds the PlayBook is responding very well for me. I can't tell if it's just my imagination, but it does feel like the smoothness of the scrolling and graphics within the OS can vary depending what app you are in. For example, while the homescreen UI experience is now extremely fluid while scrolling through a long page of icons, it appears a little more choppy when scrolling through a long list of songs in the Music app. Again, this could just be my imagination... I'll be curious to see what others have to say about this.

BlackBerry PlayBook 7

The display resolution is "sleek" this has got a "young feel" . The sound quality is also magnificent and clear. I had to choose between this and Apple... and honestly, I don't regret buying this, the price is not that bad. I sincerely love it.

BlackBerry delivers touch screen phone (just add phone)

Did BlackBerry duff it by going for a 7-inch instead of 10-inch screen? According to BB, they chose this size as BB users are conditioned into typing two-thumbed on their phones. Really not sure if this translates into the tablet world. The smaller size drops the PlayBook into a bit of a hole between a large smartphone at 4-5”, and a full size tablet at 10”. For browsing and watching media, 7” is too small. For messaging and SM, it’s fine. But a big touchscreen phone is just as fine Read more here: Gearburn review
