VOX AC15C1 Custom 15W 1x12 Combo Amplifier (Celestion G12M Greenback Speaker) Overview: The VOX AC15 is the amp that started it all. Boasting both a Normal and Top Boost channel, the AC15 Custom is an all-tube, EL84 driven workhorse that delivers 15 watts of authentic British tone into your choice of a genuine Celestion Greenback or Alnico Blue speaker. The AC15 Custom also offers footswitchable spring reverb and classic VOX tremolo to enhance the already impressive sound. Adored by the biggest names in music for nearly 60 years, the VOX AC15 Custom carries on the tradition that began in 1958 and offers guitarists the unmistakable sound of VOX, with all the refinements of a modern amplifier Designed for use with electric guitar, the AC15C1 Custom from VOX is a 15W RMS combo amplifier sporting a 12 Celestion G12M Greenback speaker. The amp also boasts a tube-driven preamp, a tube-driven power-amp stage, and two independent channels: Normal and Top Boost. The Top Boost channel offers access to an interactive EQ section;interactive in that the treble knob affects levels of bass and vice versa;while the Normal channel provides a clearer signal path. Whichever channel you choose, the Tone Cut knob across the power-amp stage gives you even more control over your signal's high end. Also, both channels utilize the onboard tremolo and reverb, both of which can be manipulated using a footswitch (available separately). Turn your attention to the back of the amplifier and you'll see a 1/4 extension jack for powering an extra 16 Ohm speaker, as well as a 1/4 external speaker output. Using the external speaker jack will mute signal to the internal cabinet, though you can hook up both 8 Ohm and 16 Ohm cabinets, so long as you set the impedance switch accordingly. You'll also notice a footswitch input, through which you can toggle reverb and tremolo with the tap of your toes. Features:
