Still, it was in thissetting that Joseph Smith received his revelationon diet and health and some of thespiritual manifestations associated withthe Kirtland temple dedication.Brigham Young re-established theschool in the Salt Lake Valley in 1867;his successor, John Taylor, resuscitated itfor a while in 1883. Youngs emphasis wastheology, first as an appendage to DeseretUniversity, and then as a separate institution.Presented here for the first time areall available minutes for the Utah period.
