A soft, porous gemstone found mainly in California, Howlite looks almost like milky white marble with fine grey veins. Much lighter than marble, however, Howlite is easy to wear with its porcelain lustre and looks stylish when combined with Hematite.
Howlite is known as the stone of memory, knowledge and self-awareness. It is said to stimulate creativity and gently absorb stress and tension, helping to soothe the emotions.
When worn at night, it is said to slow the overactive mind and help to achieve a deep and restful sleep.
Care Instructions:
To clean your Howlite bracelet, use soapy water and a soft cloth. Rinse well to remove soapy residue.
Dont use a dry cloth or a brush to clean as the stone is very soft and this may cause scratches. Avoid harsh chemicals. Remove before exercise. Store in a soft cloth or fabric lined box.
