The Hornby Scalextric Peugeot 205 T16 Shell 1:32 Scale Slot Car is a replica of a car that was used in the 1985 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland. Timo Salonen, who was driving at the time, set a record by winning four world rallies in a row. This record was unbroken until Sebastian Loeb's six wins in 2005. Timo Salonen went onto win the World Championship with a record margin of 52 points.
In the 1985 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland Timo Salonen stormed to victory by 48 seconds over Stig Blomqvist, and in doing so, set a record by winning four world rallies in a row.
