Description
This product is a Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter that can be used to expand an existing Gigabit Ethernet network. The converter is completely transparent when connected, so the network performs exactly the way it did before - only now, it allows the co-existence of both copper and fiber mediums. The converter is compliant with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3z, IEEE 802.3ab, and IEEE 802.3x standards, and supports auto negotiation function. The converter also has an Ethernet port that supports MDI/MDI-X auto crossover, and supports Full Duplex and Half Duplex. The converter also has status LED's for TX, FX LINK/ACT, POWER, FDX to easily monitor network status. The converter also has a 1Mbit RAM for data buffer, and supports jumbo frame size of 9K bytes. The converter also has an optical port that supports 1310nm Single mode. The converter is also available in a metal enclosure with dimensions of 93 x 71 x 27mm, and weighs 0.5kg. The converter comes with a 2 year warranty.
