Description
The Crime Scene Photomacrographic Scales No.2-Inches are small scales made of matte white, non-reflective rigid plastic. They are designed for close-up photography and are commonly used for bitemark measurement and photography. The scale includes three circles to help compensate for distortion caused by oblique camera angles. The scale is mostly metric, except for the width of the legs which are 25cm wide. The 1cm division lines are traced and extended across the photographic print to grid an image, allowing for measurements to be made relative to these lines to account for any distortion caused by nonparallelism between the film and object planes.

These small scales are ideal for close-up photography.Printed on matte white, non-reflective rigid plastic. Our No. 2 scale is an ABFO-type scale used for bitemark measurement and photography. The incorporation of three circles is useful in helping to compensate for distortion resulting from oblique camera angles. Graduations are all metric except for the width of the legs, which are 25cm wide. The 1cm division lines are traced and extended across the photographic print to grid an image. Measurements within the image are then made relative to these inscribed 1cm grid lines to compensate for any distortion resulting from nonparallelism between the film and the object planes.
