Description
CollectA's replica of the Tenontosaurus is detailed and lifelike down to the texture of its skin. Dating from the middle Cretaceous period--115 to 108 million years ago. Many specimens of this dinosaur were discovered in Montana and Wyoming between 1903 and the 1940s. Later in the 20th century, specimens were found in Oklahoma, Texas, Idaho, Utah and Maryland. The Tenontosaurus grew to be approximately 26 feet long and 9.8 feet high. Paleontologists tell us the plant-eating Tenontosaurus probably browsed for food among low-growing plants. This beautifully sculpted, collectible figure from our Prehistoric Life Collection measures 5.5''L x 1.8''H.
