If you love Lego and all things motoring, then feast your eyes on this super cool stunt from\u00a0Toyota. Toyota is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the iconic Supra nameplate by showcasing a life-size incarnation of the current-generation model.<\/p>\n<p>Built from more than 477 000 Lego blocks, this ultra-cool Lego model weighs in at an astonishing 1 885kg (390kg heavier than the road-going vehicle). The model took the team of 21 builders and two mechanics \u2014 who worked 24 hours a day in three shifts \u2014 a total of 5 400 hours to assemble the Lego Supra.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-32663 aligncenter\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Lego-Supra2-300x169.jpeg\" alt=\"Lego model Toyota GRSupra\" width=\"705\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Lego-Supra2-300x169.jpeg 300w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Lego-Supra2-768x432.jpeg 768w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Lego-Supra2.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Although it&#8217;s mainly built from blocks, the car also incorporates a steering wheel, tyres, driving seat and car factory logo \u2014 all derived from the original vehicle \u2014 while the interior remains largely plastic. The Lego Supra doesn\u2019t feature the GR Supra\u2019s turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, but the model is drivable, with an electric engine capable of reaching a top speed of 28km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>The Lego Toyota Supra sports a vibrant shade of yellow and has functioning headlights and taillights and is on display at Legoland in Nagoya, Japan, until 11 October 2021.
