Call of Duty<\/em><\/a>‘s revival of the Modern Warfare<\/em> name is a welcome return for the long-running series, delivering a fantastic combo including a stellar single-player campaign and addictive multiplayer.<\/p>\n

Regarding the single-player, Modern Warfare<\/em><\/a> brings its usual fare of crazy, globe-spanning antics, throwing you into the boots of a number of different characters in different conflicts which all tie together in some way. There’s an underlying tone of remorse and emotional weight attached to all these missions, taking an introspective look at the toll war plays on the heroes and villains of the story. It’s all action movie-type stuff, but it’s great to have some context behind the characters motives in between all the chaos.<\/p>\n
