But <em>Underwater<\/em> takes a sci-fi spin on the phobia, following a group of scientists on a drilling expedition at the bottom of the ocean who awaken some mysterious sea monsters. The Argentine director is back to showcase part two of his re-invisioning of the demonic clown who plagues the small town of Derry. Del Toro is producer on the film, with Scott Cooper (<em>Black Mass<\/em>, <em>Hostiles<\/em>) directing; with the film follows a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, who discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is harbouring a dangerous secret that places the entire town in danger.
