Ahead of Gamescom 2019, EA has revealed the next iteration in its veteran racing Need for Speed<\/em> franchise<\/a> <\/span>with\u00a0Need for Speed Heat<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Set in a new location to the series, the fictional yet Miami-inspired Palm City, the game returns to its large open world setting, where players can compete in both legal races during the day and illegal underground antics at night. Players will also be able to customise their cars \u2013 with everything from the aesthetics right down to the tuning of certain performance parts \u2013 being open to changes and tweaking.<\/p>\n

While you will have the ability to tear up the streets of Palm City, there’s always going to be someone on your tail, and\u00a0Heat<\/em> introduces a new rogue police task force who have some turbo-charged vehicles of their own and are dead-set on taking you down.<\/p>\n

Ghost Games (who were behind the development of 2013’s Rivals<\/em><\/a><\/span>, 2015’s Need for Speed<\/em><\/a><\/span> and 2017’s Need for Speed: Payback<\/em><\/a><\/span>) are in charge of development duty.<\/p>\n

Need for Speed Heat<\/em> will launch on 8 November 2019 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC; and you’ll be able to find the best pre-order price for Need for Speed Heat<\/em><\/a> <\/span>\u00a0on PriceCheck as the pre-orders go live.<\/p>\n
