Say hello to the 15th<\/sup> installment of the epic first-person shooter! So, if you\u2019re a fan of history and an avid gamer, this title is perfectly suited to you \u2013 are you ready for battle?<\/p>\n

Firstly, you\u2019ll be delighted to know that Digital Foundry has commented that the resolution of the PS4 is better compared to the Xbox One.<\/p>\n

The game takes place during the events of World War 1 (WW1). You\u2019re going to need to become acquainted with the weapons that were used during this time such as flamethrowers, bolt-action rifles and even mustard gas. The developers at EA DICE have taken this a step further and have introduced weapons suited for chaotic close combat; you can expect sabres, spiked maces and bayonets as well as an array of explosives and firearms.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be controlling six different characters over six \u201cWar Stories\u201d, each of which are set in different places and times.<\/p>\n

Here is an overview of three of the chapters \u2013 the rest you\u2019ll have to discover for yourself!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Storm of Steel<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019re part of the United States 369th <\/sup>Infantry Regiment, nicknamed the Harlem Hellfighters<\/em>. Defense is the name of the game; you\u2019re trying to survive against a strong German offensive. This is going to really test you.<\/p>\n

If your character dies, you are shifted to the first-person perspective on another solider.<\/p>\n

Through Mud and Blood<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the fall of 1918 and your character, Danny Edwards, is right in the middle of the Battle of Cambrai \u2013 the allies\u2019 final offensive against the Central Powers.<\/p>\n

You are assigned to a crew and need to try and break through German lines to reach the town of Cambrai. If you achieve this goal, it will make a historic impact!<\/p>\n

Friends in High Places<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the spring of 1917 and you control an American pilot named Clyde Blackburn. It\u2019s a story of deceitfulness, insubordination and ultimate betrayal \u2013 are you able to accept the eventuality of your actions?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>According to Trusted Reviews, \u201cBattlefield 1 has managed to produce not just one, but a series of incredibly crafted and powerful set-pieces capable of going toe to toe with any of them, as well as the best opening level since Medal of Honor Frontline\u2019s \u2018D-Day\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
