This means that the majority of matches \u2013 unless you opt for Extreme Rules \u2013 are going to have a specific pace and style.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re yearning for an all-out fight, you\u2019ll be pleased to know that backstage brawls are back! Ah, yes, the joy of watching Brock Lesnar F5ing <\/em>his opponent through a table or onto the concrete floor \u2013 it\u2019s a welcome return.<\/p>\n Goldberg<\/p><\/div>\n There is a distinct refinement in gameplay that adds consistency to matches. Gamespot comments that \u201cwhile the reversal system, pin\/kickout mechanics, stamina management, and submission minigame remain relatively unchanged, there’s some welcome fine-tuning sprinkled throughout.\u201d<\/p>\n Multi-person matches have also received much-needed attention, which means that user experience in tag-team bouts, the Royal Rumble match<\/em> and Battle Royals are no longer as disorganised.<\/p>\n Online play is one of the major downfalls of the game. There is a glaring latency period, making functions such as kicking out of pins, extremely difficult.<\/p>\n Another flaw is the absence of the 2K Showcase mode \u2013 sure, it was going to be difficult to top 2K16\u2019s awesome journey of the iconic \u00a0<\/em>\u201cStone Cold\u201d Steve Austin, but they could have given it a shot!<\/p>\n So, this puts a lot of pressure on the MyCareer mode\u2026which, unfortunately, is not very impressive. It is still a very monotonous, slow progression through the ranks. You definitely don\u2019t feel that you\u2019re going to have your \u201cWrestleMania Moment\u201d any time soon. However, interactive promos have been introduced, which allows developing your character\u2019s persona (either as a heel or face).<\/p>\n The bottom line is that 2K has added some phenomenal features, making it the best game in the series.
