Well, you are. It\u2019s an older-generation chassis with revved up inner workings \u2013 is this a smart move by Apple? Let\u2019s take a look.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s establish this from the beginning \u2013 yes, the design hasn\u2019t changed, but that\u2019s Apple\u2019s intention. The SE is all about the revved up inner workings; and let\u2019s be honest; the design is iconic and looks great.<strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13814 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.pricecheck.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/iphone-se-silver-web-1-400x400-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/iphone-se-silver-web-1-400x400-300x300.jpg 300w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/iphone-se-silver-web-1-400x400-150x150.jpg 150w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/iphone-se-silver-web-1-400x400.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 4\u201d Retina display is identical to the iPhone 5, but there\u2019s nothing wrong with that; however, if a screen with a higher pixel density is what you\u2019re after, consider the iPhone 6s or 6s Plus.<\/p>\n<p>The battery is a bit bigger than the one in the iPhone 5s and with iOS 9, you have Low-Power mode; when the charge gets below 20%, it will prompt activation.<\/p>\n<p>While the outside may look dated, Apple has packed the SE with the latest hardware.
