The Mecer 2400VA 1440W 24V Inverter is a high-quality off-grid simulated sine wave inverter with built-in AVR for voltage regulation. It has a wide input voltage range of 90-280 VAC and provides overload and short circuit protection. The LCD display panel provides comprehensive information and it also has an intelligent fan cooling system. It requires 2x 12V lead acid or deep cycle AGM batteries wired in series to operate and is suitable for use with basic low energy appliances. It is not able to run appliances that use a motor or element. The inverter does not come with a solar charge controller and it has a capacity of 2400 VA / 1440 W with a power factor of 0.6. It has various voltage settings for battery charging and has full protection against overload, short circuit, and polarity reserve. The inverter has a peak efficiency of 85% and a maximum charge current of 10 or 20 A, depending on the setting. It has a compact size and weighs 4.8 kgs.
