The Fujitsu Scansnap IX100 Wireless Mobile Scanner is a battery-powered portable scanner that features an optical resolution of 600 dpi for detailed image capture and can work with documents from 1 x 1" all the way to 8.5 x 34" in size. The unit's wireless connectivity enables scanning over a network to computers or mobile devices running the ScanSnap Connect application. It can also detect networks and automatically connect to commonly visited networks once initially set up. A Direct Connect mode then allows users to scan wirelessly without an infrastructure network. Other modes include a Dual Scan feature that will scan two smaller documents simultaneously, and automatic stitching of a two-page spread.
