It also contains a medical grade HEPA filter that captures up to 99,975% of particles that are 0.1 microns in diameter. The carbon filter removes smells and odours, and the antiviral filter contains silver ions and copper ions are added to the material, and copper ions attack the proteins and amino acids of cells, so that silver ions invade cells and finally kill bacteria or viruses. The UV light captures and destroys bacteria and viruses, and the PCO technology is a very powerful air purification technology that has the ability to destroy particles as small as 0.001 microns. The SoLEnco Multi-stage Filtration Air Purifier CF8500 has 4 speed settings with Auto Mode, and is extremely quiet operation with ambient background sound as it works. The soft touch controls enable you to quickly and easily change the settings, and it is approved by the Allergy Foundation of South Africa.
