Purple Fly Trading: Hi thanks for your comment. I have tried to explain this to every client that has had an issue with our pricing and well there are many reasons for it. We do have more than one supplier for a particular product and if one supplier does not have stock we have to try another supplier. It is beyond my control what prices my suppliers charge me for their products. I always send a quote that my clients have to agree to and accept before any money is transferred. I have never taken anyone’s money and then turned around and asked for more. The price on the quote is the current price based on many factors. Different suppliers with different prices is the most obvious one, then there are other factors like the current exchange rate, whether or not the product was on special and no longer is , as my suppliers send me mailshots with special pricing with no definite date that the special ends or only until stocks last. Due to the recent changes in the exchange rate most of our suppliers update their prices weekly if not daily in some cases. If our suppliers order in a batch of say 200 laptops, then the price they charge is based on the exchange rate when the stock has landed. They also can and do change their prices if the exchange rate changes. Purple Fly Trading is an online company that does not keep stock neither does any of the other online resellers in SA and we all buy from our suppliers and items are collected by courier and delivered to our clients. The price of items is completely dependent on what our suppliers want to charge us for the goods today. If anyone has a better suggestion on how to update 2 million products and prices daily then please let me know. That is why you can't just order off my site, you have to place a request for quote.
