RG Gives New Meaning to "Buyers Remorse"

This is the woeful tale of my order: 10 Apr 2013 - Order 2943 placed for two graphics cards totalling R1,680 incl. shipping and VAT. 11 Apr 2013 - RG told me that ETA was 1-3 days and that order items were in stock and I should make payment. 16 Apr 2013 - RG told me that payment had been received and that order items were in stock. Delivery delay due to courier issues. 18 Apr 2013 - RG told me that main supplier had an "internal server crash" and could not invoice anything for 3 days. 22 Apr 2013 - RG told me that they were having trouble "securing MSI stock", could they swap "for alternate brand with same spec" - I said "yes". 24 Apr 2013 - RG came back with an alternate brand (Sapphire) AND a different model. I told them it was not spec equivalent and would like to cancel my order. RG indicated that they would do so. 29 Apr 2013 - I asked RG when my refund would be processed. No reply from RG. 06 May 2013 - I asked RG when my refund would be processed. No reply from RG. 09 May 2013 - RG claimed "data a phone line" issues and would get on it "ASAP". 13 May 2013 - I asked RG when my refund would be processed. No reply from RG. 16 May 2013 - I asked RG when my refund would be processed. RG said that they will "ask accounts why this has not been done". 19 Jun 2013 - RG sends out an email claiming to be under "new management". 24 Jun 2013 - I email RG, pleading to the "new management" to sort out my outstanding refund. No reply from RG.

This place is a scam! This is an online con-artist! I ordered a HDD tower 3 weeks ago and have still not heard anything from them. Do NOT buy here! I am currently seeking legal advise to get my money back! Have never experienced such shocking service in my life!

Advertise items as in stock with supplier, then when you order they don't actually have any stock. Visit their website a couple of days later and guess what it says: ITEM IN STOCK WITH SUPPLIER. No effort is made to even correct the webpage and they will happily keep selling something they don't have, now I have to wait for my refund.

I ordered a product from them because their site said they had it in stock ! It is almost a month later and no one answers the phone or reply's to my emails! I would like a full refund! This is a joke!

Got recommended to rampage gaming by a friend for a gaming build. They didn't disappoint in the least bit. Their sales people were gamers and knew exactly what they were talking about. My system took 3 days to get to me but they did do stress testing so cant fault them for that. Will definitely be using them again in future.

Found Rampage Gaming the other day when I was looking for the new Ivy Bridge 3770k CPU, they hd very good pricing on all theyre components so I ordered a basic new system for myself. They emailed me immediately after I placed order to tell me the memory I ordered wouldnt work with system and suggested an alternative. Most companies ive dealt with dont even know what memory is so I was very surprised with theyre level of knowledge and willingness to help. Order arrived quick, no complaints. Will delivery use them again.

Brilliant store, their site definitely needs some work but I understand they had some hosting issues so cant really blame them. Placed a order for a R15000 PC, they helped me out by telling me processor I ordered was overpowered for system and suggested lower model. I have never come across a store that is this knowledgeable and still honest!

This company has no idea how to deal in this industry, being an industry insider the feedback and responses I have been getting (when you chase them up for responses) , have all been poor excuses and non pro-active. They really do not seem to want provide a service at all , clearly they are a tiny organization with no stock, no idea etc... Ordered a GFX Card on 10th December and paid them and have to date not received it ....and have no idea when either! Would love to see their comments on this, as I have sent 3 emails in the past 2 days and no response, they should really not be a trusted shop!

Bought nearly R20k worth of stuff in September; delivery took about 6 weeks; faulty motherboard took 3 weeks to collect (they wanted me to courier at own expense, even though out-of-box failure); still waiting for replacement more than 1 month later; still waiting for VAT refund after pointing out they cannot charge VAT if not registered. They are completely ignoring all correspondence. Have reported to SARS and laid fraud charges. Caveat emptor!
